Driver With Life-time Suspension Stopped For OVI A Sheriff’s Deputy responded to a call from a concerned citizen regarding a driver that was swerving all over the roadway. The vehicle was traffic stopped by the Deputy Sheriff on Spade Road in the City of Green. The driver of the vehicle was identified as Gregory W. Gordon. Mr. Gordon had an odor of alcohol and appeared to be impaired. Gordon subsequently refused all of the sobriety tests. Mr. Gordon’s driver’s license had previously been suspended for life due to a conviction of aggravated vehicular homicide and O.V.I. The aforementioned conviction relates to an incident in 1994 when Gordon was involved in a traffic accident that claimed the life of Officer George Knaff of the Akron Police Department.
