Burglary Suspect Arrested  

In December of 2011, the Summit County Sheriff’s Office and the Springfield Police Department began investigating burglaries that had been taking place in the area.

 On 12/12/2011, a search warrant was conducted at 2793 Gowanda Avenue in Springfield Township. Stolen property was recovered from the aforementioned burglaries. Some of the stolen property included jewelry, coins, electronics, and a compound bow.

 Jimmy Lee Ward, age 28 of Springfield Township was arrested on (2) counts of Burglary and (2) counts of Theft. He was booked into the Summit County Jail. Future charges may be pending the outcome of the investigation.
