SHERIFF’S DEPUTIES INVESTIGATE SHOOTING On 12-8-09 at approximately 3:30A.M., Sheriff’s deputies responded to a Canvasback Circle residence in Coventry Twp. for a shooting. A 61 year old female was shot in the arm by her 59 year old husband. Allegedly, a grandchild’s toy made noise and awoke the female. She got out of bed to turn the toy off and was shot by her husband. Her husband saw her silhouette in a hallway and thought she was an intruder. She was transported to Akron City Hospital.
