PHARMACY BURGLARS ARRESTED The Summit and Wayne County Sheriff’s Office, Wooster Police, Seville Police, Brewster Police Departments, and the State of Ohio Pharmacy Board arrested three individuals responsible for pharmacy burglaries in a Summit, Wayne, Stark, and Medina Counties. In July 2008, pharmacies in Green, Barberton,Wooster, Kidron, Brewster, and Seville were being broken into and Oxycontin, Hydrocodone, and Vicodin and various other pills were being stolen. After a lengthy investigation by several agencies, five males were identified as the suspects. On February 5, 2009, the Summit County Grand Jury returned secret indictments for Joshua Dowdell, age 32 of Doylestown, James Devaughn, age 32 , currently incarcerated in prison, Thomas Farrell, age 26, of Barberton, Kyle Porkorney, age 27 of Barberton, and Joshua Weigand, age 21 of Barberton. They were charged with Engaging in a Pattern of Corrupt Activity, Breaking and Entering, Theft, and Possession of Criminal Tools. Dowdell, Farrell, and Porkorney were arrested on 2-18-10 and booked into the Summit County Jail. Devaughn was served with his warrants in prison.
