26 Individuals Arrested During Sweep Sheriff Drew Alexander and the Summit County Sheriff’s Office are pleased to announce the results of a month-long operation. The operation was a collaborative effort between the Summit County Sheriff’s Office and the Summit County Prosecutor’s Office Child Support Enforcement Agency. The main focus of the operation was to locate and apprehend individuals with outstanding felony warrants for failure to pay child support. Over the one month operation, 26 fugitives were arrested for various offenses. Twelve of the individuals were wanted for failure to pay child support. Some of the other arrestees had outstanding warrants for domestic violence, aggravated burglary, aggravated robbery, and escape.
