There were many Fedex Courier e-mails claiming that there are a large number of unclaimed packages in holding for the recipient. All of the senders were from outside of the United States and they requested personal information.

Numerous residents received e-mails involving recognized automobile manufacturers giving away money in exchange for personal information.  These e-mails are based out of the United Kingdom.

A bulk online banking alert alleged to be sent by Huntington Bank was sent to a resident who does not bank with Huntington Bank. Huntington has a policy for reporting these e-mails. This information can be located on the official Huntington Bank website under customer service.
