Woolridge Found Guilty of Felonious Assault

(September 13, 2011… Akron) … Summit County Prosecutor Sherri Bevan Walsh announced today that Yorel Woolridge, 19, of Akron, was found guilty today by a jury of Felonious Assault, a second-degree felony.

Around 12:45 a.m. on March 6, 2011, Woolridge attacked another patron at the Late Nite Cabaret, hitting him with a glass object. The victim’s right cheek was sliced open, permanently scarring his face.

Judge Elinore Stormer will sentence Woolridge on October 26 at 10 a.m.
