Violent McDonald’s Robber to Spend 15 Years in
Prison
(September 15, 2011… Akron)
… Summit County Prosecutor Sherri Bevan Walsh
announced today that Georgeo D. Jacobs, 21, of Akron was sentenced late yesterday by Judge
Lynne Callahan to 15 years in prison for Aggravated Robbery, Felonious Assault
and Burglary.
On April 24, 2011, Jacobs entered the McDonalds on West Market Street
wearing a mask and demanded money at knife-point. When the manager ran to call
911, Jacobs cut her in the back with a butcher knife. He then chased a pregnant
employee out of the restaurant and threatened to kill two male employees who
followed him outside.
After leaving the restaurant without any money, Jacobs then
broke into an apartment to get rid of his mask, sweatshirt and knife and hide
from the police.
Jacobs pled guilty on August 3 to Aggravated Robbery, a
first-degree felony; Felonious Assault, a second-degree felony; and Burglary, a
third-degree felony.
