Donahue Convicted of Sexual Battery

(September 7, 2011… Akron) … Summit County Prosecutor Sherri Bevan Walsh announced today that Michael Donahue, 49, of Leighton Avenue in Akron was found guilty late yesterday by Judge Elinore Stormer of Sexual Battery, a third-degree felony.

On January 29, 2011, Donahue began to perform oral sex on a man who was sleeping on a friend’s couch. When the victim awoke, he struck Donahue and began fighting with him while a witness called police.

Donahue will be sentenced on September 28.
