Bey Pleads to Aggravated Robbery

(October 12, 2011… Akron) … Summit County Prosecutor Sherri Bevan Walsh announced today that Aswad A. Bey, 31, of Edward Street in Akron, pleaded guilty today to Aggravated Robbery, a first-degree felony with a firearm specification.

Bey and a co-defendant robbed the victim at gunpoint while he sat in his car outside the Open Pantry store on Copley Road in Akron.

Visiting Judge Robert Brown sentenced Bey to four years in prison.
