Finance Department

The Finance Department oversees the Juvenile Court’s $9,753,444 budget
comprised from county, state and federal funds. Summit County government’s
general fund provides 84% of the court’s budget, the state contributes 14%
and the federal government, 2%.
The Finance Department also prepares and submits budget proposals,
monitors expenditures, prepares financial reports and coordinates and
approves all purchases by the court. The Finance Department also has the
authority to conduct audits, oversee personnel and payroll, review and
approve contracts with vendors and service providers and assist in
preparing grant proposals. |
