JUDGE TEODOSIO TO DELIVER KEYNOTE SPEECH

Summit County Juvenile Court Judge Linda Tucci Teodosio has been asked to deliver the keynote speech at a seminar entitled “Youth with Disabilities and Their Interaction with the Juvenile Justice System” in Cleveland on Wednesday, January 9^th. 

The seminar is sponsored by The Ohio Youth with Disabilities Juvenile Justice Project, the Cuyahoga County Board of Mental Retardation and Developmental Disabilities, The Education Service Center of Cuyahoga County and the Ohio Department of Education. 

Judge Teodosio’s keynote speech will address the problems and potential solutions concerning the manner in which juvenile courts approach youth with disabilities and how Summit County is collaborating to respond to them. 

“This is a great opportunity to advocate for the needs of these children and provide an opportunity for the courts and social services to engage in addressing the issue,” said Judge Teodosio. “It’s also gives me the chance to share the ideas and practices we’re working on implementing in Summit County.”
