JUVENILE COURT OFFERS ATTORNEYS NEW SERVICE

Summit County Juvenile Court Judge Linda Tucci Teodosio announced today that the Court has introduced a new service for attorneys – the Attorney Access Gateway. The new addition to the Court’s web site is designed to allow attorneys secure access to case information. Attorneys must initially register to gain access to the data provided, which includes case schedules, docketing and contact information for the case(s) on which they are appointed or retained.

While the Court has provided attorneys access to case records from computers available in an area earmarked for such research, the new service will make case record information available 24 hours a day and allow attorneys to access records from their home, office or anywhere they have access to the Internet.

“I am well aware that rarely does an attorney have a conventional 9-to-5 job,” said Judge Teodosio. “This web site link will allow attorneys a valuable resource to work on their cases after the Court closes for the day.”

Attorneys who have previously registered for the Court’s internal record search computer system will receive mail with new account information for access to the Attorney Access Gateway. Attorneys who have yet to register can do so by downloading a form from the Court’s web site (http://www.co.summit.oh.us/JuvenileCourt/index.htm) or by filling out a registration form on their next visit to the court. The form is available at the Clerk’s Office.
