Executive Russell M. Pry Division of Animal Control to Sell 2010
Summit County Dog Licenses at PetSmart
On Saturday, January 30, 2010, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., Summit County
Executive Russell M. Pry's Division of Animal Control will be selling
2010 Summit County Dog Licenses at PetSmart, located at 355 Howe Avenue
in Cuyahoga Falls.
The event will provide citizens with a last minute opportunity to
purchase a 2010 Summit County Dog License at the price of $14 each.
Citizens who fail to license their canines by the February 1, 2010
deadline will be required to pay an additional $14 late fee.
The Ohio Revised Code requires citizens who own, keep or harbor a dog
more than three months of age to purchase a county dog license on an
annual basis. Funds generated from the sale of dog licenses are used to
feed, house and vaccinate abandoned animals in need.
