County Executive Russell M. Pry Partners with The Home Depot to Sponsor Housing Clinic

On Saturday, September 12, 2009, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., Summit County Executive Russell M. Pry and The Home Depot will sponsor a housing clinic at the Edgewood Community Center, located at 760 Edgewood Avenue in Akron. The event is free and open to the first sixty citizens who register.

The Everything You Want to Know about Your Home clinic will include informational sessions on the following housing topics: Fire and Personal Safety, Green and Efficient Homes, Indoor and Outdoor Maintenance and How to Select Contractors.

Throughout the event, The Home Depot will be facilitating kid clinics, a lawn mower raffle and free giveaways. Tours of Edgewood Village and a hot dog lunch will also be provided.
