Summit County Department of Job and Family Services to Promote Services at Upcoming Community Expos

On Friday, September 18, 2009, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Summit County Executive Russell M. Pry's Department of Job and Family Services (DJFS) will be hosting an information booth at the 2009 Summit Senior Expo. The event will take place at Summit Mall, located at 3265 West Market Street in Akron. Citizens interested in learning more about the vast array of county programs and services being made available to individuals sixty-five years of age and older are encouraged to attend.

Representatives from the Department of Job and Family Services will also be greeting citizens, answering questions and providing information to Healthy Baby Fair & Family Expo attendees on Saturday, October 3, 2009, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The event will take place at the John S. Knight Center, located at 77 East Mill Street in downtown Akron. Promotional information featuring Healthy Start, a free health care coverage program for infants, children, teenagers younger than age 19 and pregnant women of any age, child care services and more will be on display.
