Summit County Executive Russell M. Pry Hosts Community Information Meeting and Application Workshop

On Wednesday, May 20, 2009, Summit County Executive Russell M. Pry hosted a Community Information Meeting and Application Workshop at the Oliver R. Ocasek Building, Auditorium, located at 161 South High Street in downtown Akron. Over 70 community development professionals were in attendance.

The following programs were discussed at this workshop: State Capital Improvement Program, Local Transportation Improvement Program, Small Government Program, Clean Ohio Revitalization Fund, Ohio Job Ready Sites, Natural Resources Assistance Council, Community Development Block Grants, and the HOME program.

In addition to representatives from Executive Pry's Department of Community and Economic Development, grant specialists from the Ohio Department of Development and the Ohio Public Works Commission were present to answer questions and guide attendees through the application processes.
