Summit County Executive Russell M. Pry's Division of Animal
Control to Participate in Cat-May-Nia
On Saturday, May 23, 2009, from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m., Summit County
Executive Russell M. Pry’s Division of Animal Control will be
participating in Cat-May-Nia, a feline adoption event that will be held
on the grounds of the Adell Durbin Park, Campbell Lodge, located on
State Route 91 in Stow, Ohio.
Cat-May-Nia attendees will have an opportunity to: adopt a cat (or
kitten), meet with local animal rescue groups, learn about volunteer
opportunities, discuss pet population concerns and obtain information on
responsible pet ownership.
Cat-May-Nia is being sponsored by the Summit Animal Coalition, an animal
welfare group made up of the following organizations: Friends of Pets,
Golden Treasures, Golden Retrievers in Need, One-of-a-Kind Pet Rescue,
Pet Guards, the Summit County Division of Animal Control, Paws and
Prayers and Paws with Pride.
