Summit County Division of Animal Control to Participate in
Adopt-A-Thon
On May 2nd and 3rd, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., Summit County Executive
Russell M. Pry’s Division of Animal Control will be participating in the
2008 PetSmart National Spring Adopt-A-Thon. The event will be held at
the PetSmart located at 355 Howe Avenue in Cuyahoga Falls.
“The County of Summit Division of Animal Control is extremely excited
about this added opportunity to showcase our adoptable cats and dogs,”
said Summit County Executive Russell M. Pry. “We look forward to meeting
with the public and informing citizens about the animal adoption
services that are now being offered through our facility.”
The cost to adopt a dog fully treated by the County of Summit will be
$90; while, the cost to adopt a cat fully treated will be $57. Full
treatment includes: license (if necessary), shots, spay-and-neuter
operations and de-flea & de-worm services. All animals being adopted at
this event, through the County of Summit, will have received the
services listed above and ready to be taken to their new homes.
The Summit County Division of Animal Control will also be selling dog
