Summit County Executive Russell M. Pry to Promote County Services at the Stow-Munroe Falls Community Showcase

On April 12th and 13th, 2008, Summit County Executive Russell M. Pry will be sponsoring an information booth at the 11th annual Stow-Munroe Falls Community Showcase, a biennial community information fair that is scheduled to take place at Stow-Munroe Falls High School, located at 3227 East Graham Road in Stow.

The exhibition booth will provide citizens with detailed information on the wide array of services that are being offered through the County of Summit Executive’s Office, such as: child care, emergency management services, foreclosure prevention assistance, health care programs, housing opportunities, senior initiatives and much more.

The Summit County Bicentennial Bell will also be on display at the showcase for all to ring. The 250-pound, commemorative bell was a gift from the State of Ohio on the occasion of its 200th birthday. The bell was handmade on June 1, 2003, in downtown Akron, and was personalized with the County of Summit name, forging date, the Great Seal of Ohio and the Bicentennial logo.

Representatives from Summit County Executive Russell M. Pry’s Department of Communications will be on site to greet citizens, answer questions and provide information.
