Executive McCarthy and NEFCO Host Riverbank Clean-Up Day

On Saturday, April 21, 2007, Summit County Executive James B. McCarthy’s Department of Environmental Services, will partner with the Northeast Ohio Four County Regional Planning and Development Organization (NEFCO), to clean-up litter and debris along the newly restored banks of the middle Cuyahoga River.

All citizens interested in volunteering their time to this effort are being asked to meet at the Fishcreek Wastewater Treatment Plant, 2910 North River Road in Stow, at 8:30 a.m., and bring rakes, gloves and any other helpful tools. Snacks and lunch will be provided.

Summit County citizens under the age of 18 must have signed parental consent to participate.
