Summit County Executive Russell M. Pry to Host Community Outreach Program at Portage Lakes Branch Library

A community outreach program entitled, Summit County Government At Your Service will be held Thursday, October 25, 2007, from 11 to 3 p.m., at the Portage Lakes Branch Library, 4261 Manchester Road, City of New Franklin. This outreach program is designed to inform the public of the wide array of services the county offers to its citizens, such as: the ExecutiveMED prescription discount card program, emergency management programs and services, senior programs, child health care services and housing assistance opportunities.

Representatives from Summit County Executive Russell M. Pry’s Office, Summit County Sheriff Drew Alexander’s Office, Summit County Engineer Greg Bachman’s Office and Summit County Clerk of Courts Daniel M. Horrigan’s Office will be present to provide citizens with information about programs and services.

“Government At Your Service is an opportunity for the citizens of Summit County to interact with representatives and learn about how county government functions,” said County Executive Russell M. Pry. “Citizens are encouraged to ask questions, express concerns and learn about the services that the County of Summit has to offer.”
