Executive Pry to Host Community Outreach Program at Akron-Summit County Public Library

On Thursday, November 8, 2007, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., Summit County Executive Russell M. Pry will be hosting a community outreach program titled, Government at Your Service at the Akron-Summit County Public Library, Main Branch, located at 60 South High Street in downtown Akron.

Government at Your Service is designed to inform the public of the wide array of services the County of Summit offers to its citizens, such as: child care services, emergency management programs and services, health care programs, housing assistance opportunities, senior programs and much more.

Representatives from Summit County Clerk of Court’s Daniel M. Horrigan’s Office, Summit County Council, Summit County Engineer Greg Bachman’s Office, Summit County Executive Russell M. Pry’s Office, Summit County Fiscal Officer John Donofrio’s Office and Summit County Sheriff Drew Alexander’s Office will be present to provide citizens with information about additional programs, services and opportunities.

“Attending a Government at Your Service event is a great way to find out what programs and services are available,” said Summit County Executive Russell M. Pry. “Those in attendance will also have an opportunity to interact with representatives, ask questions and voice concerns.”
