Summit County Executive Russell M. Pry To Host Change for Change Networking Event

On Thursday, September 20, 2007, from 4:30 – 7 p.m., Summit County Executive Russell M. Pry will host a Change for Change after work, networking gathering at Rockne’s Pub, located at 7 Merriman Road in Akron, to benefit the United Way of Summit County. The public is invited.

Change for Change is a monthly networking program that is held on the third Thursday of every month, each event benefits a different local cause.

“Change for Change serves as a unique opportunity to network and raise dollars for local charities,” said Summit County Executive Russell M. Pry. “Due to the generosity of the Rockne’s Pub staff, all of the tips raised throughout the events are donated to a local charity. Donations are also accepted at the events.”

The October 2007 Change for Change event is scheduled to benefit the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation. Future events and participating charities will be announced.
