Deborah Matz became a member
of Executive Pry's cabinet in January 2011. As the Director of
Law, Ms. Matz oversees all legal matters for the County of
Summit Executive's Office.
Her previous work experience
includes serving as a Magistrate for the Summit County Domestic
Relations Court and a Judicial Attorney for the Summit County
Court of Common Pleas.
Deb Matz is an active
volunteer for the following community organizations: Akron Bar
Association, Big Brothers/Big Sisters of Summit and Medina
Counties, the Community Aids Network and The University of
Akron, School of Law, Alumni Association.
Matz holds a bachelor's
degree and a master's degree from Kent State University; as well
as, a juris doctorate from The University of Akron.
