District 8 Natural Resources Assistance Council - Clean Ohio Funding
Within the Department of Development, the Ohio Public Works Commission (OPWC) funds the Clean Ohio Program. The District 8 Natural Resources Assistance Council (NRAC) recommends projects for funding to the Ohio Public Works Commission through the Clean Ohio Program. This Clean Ohio Green Space Conservation Program helps to fund preservation of open spaces, sensitive ecological areas and stream corridors. The members of the District 8 NRAC are: Keith Shy, Chairman; Dan Rice, Vice-Chairman; Alan Brubaker; Chairman NRAC Technical Advisory Committee; John Moore; Mayor Donald Plusquellic, Mayor Katherine Procop, Frances Buchholzer, Brian James, Richard Rebadow, Dan Ross and Mark Kochheiser. Projects are reviewed and evaluated locally by the District 8 NRAC, with the highest ranking projects recommended to the OPWC for funding.
