2009-508 An Ordinance amending Chapter 174 of the Codified Ordinances of the County of Summit, entitled “Current Real Estate Tax Installment Payment Plan,” to provide flexibility in the monthly installment payment of current real estate taxes and assessments for residential owner-occupied real property, for the Fiscal Officer, and declaring an emergency. 2009-481 An Ordinance amending Section 169.04, entitled “Hiring,” to extend the temporary freeze on the hiring of new employees by all County appointing authorities until December 31, 2010, for the Executive, and declaring an emergency. June 2010
2009-475 An Ordinance amending the Codified Ordinances of the County of Summit to provide equal opportunity and prohibit discrimination on the basis of sexual orientation and gender identity in the hiring and employment practices of the County and its vendors, for the Executive, and declaring an emergency. 2009-467 An Ordinance amending Section 177.16 of the Codified Ordinances of the County of Summit, entitled “Sale of County Real Property,” to provide for the sale of parcels of land with a value of $2,500.00 or less, as set forth on the tax duplicate by the Fiscal Officer, without an appraisal and advertisement, for the Executive’s Department of Law, and declaring an emergency. 2009-436 An Ordinance enacting Section 113.13 of the Codified Ordinances of the County of Summit, entitled “Lead Testing Fee,” to establish a fee to be charged by the County when performing lead tests on rehabilitated structures, for the Executive’s Department of Community and Economic Development, and declaring an emergency. 2009-417 An Ordinance amending Section 136.02 of the Codified Ordinances of the County of Summit, entitled “Fee for Autopsies for other Counties,” to establish a fee for the remainder of 2009 of $1,230.00 for autopsies performed by the Medical Examiner on behalf of other counties and to provide that no later than December 1 of each year, the Medical Examiner shall give the County Executive an estimate of the actual value of the technicians and materials used to perform autopsies on behalf of other counties for the following year and that no later than December 15 of each year, the Executive shall issue an Executive Order setting the fee for out-of-county autopsies for the following year, for the Executive, and declaring an emergency.   Exhibits A & B June 2010
2009-380 An amended Ordinance amending Chapter 169A of the Codified Ordinances of the County of Summit, entitled “Cost Savings Days,” to permit appointing authorities to enact a policy whereby employees must take mandatory time off during calendar year 2010, for the Executive, and declaring an emergency. 2009-379 An Ordinance enacting Chapter 164A 169A of the Codified Ordinances of the County of Summit, entitled “Cost Savings Days,” to permit appointing authorities to enact a policy whereby employees must take mandatory time off, up to thirty-two hours, during calendar year 2009, for the Executive, and declaring an emergency.  June 2010
2009-331 A Substitute Ordinance amending Section 169.28 of the Codified Ordinances of the County of Summit, entitled "Substance Abuse Prevention Policy", to revise the County's pre-employment and post-accident testing program for alcohol and/or controlled substances in response to recent opinions by the Ohio Attorney General and County Prosecutor and to make other revisions to clarify the County's testing process, for the Executive, and declaring an emergency.
