The Summit County Office of Consumer Affairs is the County Government’s consumer protection agency.

Consumer education presentations and publications are available at NO COST. If you need a speaker at your next luncheon, brown bag, classroom or evening organization meeting, you can call or email us with your request below. If you would like to have our office participate in a community event by providing a booth with literature on many consumer issues, please contact us.

Speakers have vast experience and knowledge on a wide variety of consumer issues such as telemarketing scams, credit repair, home improvement, predatory lending, foreclosure intervention, work-at-home schemes, health fraud, failure to deliver or perform motor vehicle repairs, Internet scams, door-to-door sales, and scams targeting seniors and small businesses.

Please contact Christine Gilley at (330) 643-2879 if you would be interested in scheduling a speaker or if you need any consumer education assistance.
