Door-to-Door License/Permit Requirements

The Office of Consumer Affairs issues licenses for door-to-door solicitors, peddlers, and canvassers who plan to solicit in the Village of Richfield, Richfield Township, and Sagamore Hills Township in accordance with Codified Ordinances of County of Summit (OH) Chapter 775.All applicants must be eighteen (18) and older in order to apply. The license fee is $35.00 and there is a ten (10) day waiting period after the application is taken before the license is issued. For more information on how to apply for a solicitor’s license, please contact the Office of Consumer Affairs at: (330) 643-2879.
