Probation

The Probation Department is comprised of 17 probation officers who are
assigned to geographic districts based on high school clusters. Probation
supervision provides an assessment of an adjudicated offender, the
development of a case plan, monitoring various contacts with the offender,
parents and other agencies involved.
The primary objective of probation is to provide community safety,
offender accountability and practical rehabilitation. These objectives can
be reached through a range of options that include public, private and
community resources. |
