Judge
Teodosio Names Magistrates
Summit County
Juvenile Court Judge Linda Tucci Teodosio has sworn in six new
magistrates to assist in hearing cases that come before the court.
Two of the newly-named magistrates have previous experience with the
court. John Vuillemin was a former prosecutor, referee, chief magistrate
and Juvenile Court judge from 1977 to 1990 and Maria Kostoff was a
magistrate for six years, including four as chief magistrate, before
leaving the court last year to enter private practice. Vuillemin has
been in private practice since 1990.
Also sworn in were:
Bradford Christman, who was staff attorney in charge of juvenile affairs
at the Summit County Children Services Board.
Robert Fowler, an attorney in private practice.
Tavia Galonsky, a former magistrate with the county’s Domestic Relations
Court.
Kristin Wardell Maxwell, formerly an Assistant Prosecutor for the City
of Akron.
“I am very pleased that these outstanding individuals accepted the
opportunity to work at the Juvenile Court,” said Judge Teodosio. “Each
of them brings a long-term commitment to the juvenile justice system and
I believe the court is definitely strengthened by their presence.” |
