JUDGE TEODOSIO HONORED TWICE IN MARCH One year of achievement was recognized in a five-day span for former Cuyahoga Falls Municipal Court Judge Linda Tucci Teodosio. On March 5th, Judge Teodosio received the Harold B. Stubbs Humanitarian Award for Government at ceremonies held at Fairlawn’s Hilton West. Five days later, at The University of Akron’s Martin Center, the judge was named Summit County’s Public Official of the Year by the local chapter of the National Association of Social Workers (NASW). She was introduced by association member and Silver Lake resident Jean Mendenhall. Both awards recognized Judge Teodosio’s innovative administration of the county’s Juvenile Court since she took office on January 1, 2003. “I accept these awards on behalf of my staff,” said Judge Teodosio. “They were the ones who embraced the changes we brought to Juvenile Court and made them work to the benefit of the people served by the Court.” With her designation as the Summit County Public Official of the Year by the NASW, Judge Teodosio will be considered for the organization’s Public Official of the Year for the State of Ohio which will be awarded later this year.
