Judge Teodosio To Be Honored By High School Alma MaterSummit County Juvenile Court Judge Linda Tucci Teodosio will be one of four individuals to be enshrined in the Plain Local Schools’ Hall of Distinction. The induction ceremony will be held Saturday, May 17th at 6pm at Glen Oak High School. Judge Teodosio is a member of Glenwood High School’s Class of 1975, the final graduating class from that school before it merged with Oakwood High School. Judge Teodosio is being honored for her outstanding community service and achievements in the practice of law. A 1980 graduate from The University of Akron with a Bachelor of Science degree in elementary education, Judge Teodosio received her Juris Doctor from the university’s School of Law in 1982. She served five years as Judge in Cuyahoga Falls Municipal Court before her 2002 election to the Juvenile Court Among the 68 civic and professional organizations on which she has served are the ADM Board, CYO Executive Board, chair of the Akron Bar Association, Charles Scanlon American Inns of Court, American Judges Association and the Social Services Advisory Board. The Plain Local Schools’ Alumni Association also noted the many honors she has received, including the Outstanding Service Award from the Akron Bar Association, Stow-Munroe Falls Chamber of Commerce’s Business Person of the Year, Rho Lambda Honorary and being named one of Northeast Ohio’s Most Influential Women by Northern Ohio Live magazine. “I am very honored to be recognized by the Alumni Association, it means a great deal to me,” said Judge Teodosio. “I look forward to renewing acquaintances with some classmates, teachers and friends.” |
