Judge Teodosio To Speak At National Conference Summit County Juvenile Court Judge Linda Tucci Teodosio has been invited to be a featured presenter at the National Policy Academy Seminar that will be held in Bethesda, MD September 13-15. Judge Teodosio will address teams representing California, Mississippi, Missouri, Nevada, New Jersey, Ohio, Oregon, Texas and Washington, D.C. The seminar is entitled Improving Services for Youth With Mental Health Issues and Co-Occurring Disorders Involved in the Juvenile Justice System. The seminar is sponsored by the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration. The seminar will include presentations on diverse issues germane to the subject matter. Judge Teodosio will make her presentation on Wednesday. She will discuss the methods the Summit County Juvenile Court utilizes to attack the growing problem of youth suffering from mental health and substance abuse problems. “I view the invitation to make a presentation at this seminar as a validation of what we are doing at the Court primarily through our Crossroads Program,” said Judge Teodosio. “I look forward to sharing with professionals from across the nation what we are doing in Akron, Ohio.”
