ACA International – Association of Credit and Collection Professionals
International (ACA) is an international trade organization of credit and collection professionals that provides a variety of accounts receivable management services to over one million credit grantors!  In addition to being a valuable resource for education, compliance and industry information to our members, ACA's Web site is a resource guide designed to educate consumers, business professionals and the media about the credit and collection industry.
ACFE–Association of Certified Fraud Examiners
The ACFE is the world's premier provider of anti-fraud training and education. Together with over 34,000 members, the ACFE is reducing business fraud world-wide and inspiring public confidence in the integrity and objectivity within the profession.
AGA–Advanced Government Accountability
AGA serves government accountability professionals by providing quality education, fostering professional development and certification, and supporting standards and research to advance government accountability.
AICPA–American Institute of Certified Public Accountants
The AICPA is the accrediting, accounting and auditing standards, continuing education, and ethics governing body for Certified Public Accountants (CPA).
Association of Local Government Auditors (ALGA)
ALGA is a professional organization committed to supporting and improving local government auditing through advocacy, collaboration, education and training, while upholding the highest standards of professional ethics. ALGA was formed in 1989 and has enjoyed a growing membership. There are more than 300 organizational members and over 2,000 individual members of ALGA. Our membership represents a wide diversity of local government audit organizations ranging from one-person audit shops to others with more than 75 professionals. The Directors of some of our member organizations are elected and others are appointed. Our members audit cities, counties, and service districts, such as schools, transportation, and water. We also encourage associate memberships for auditors working in state and federal organizations as well as private auditing firms. We provide information to assist our members whether they are audit directors, managers or staff in conducting financial as well as performance audits.

APRI–American Prosecutors Research Institute
In 1984, the National District Attorneys Association founded the American Prosecutors Research Institute (APRI) as a non-profit research and program development resource for prosecutors at all levels of government. Since that time, APRI has become a vital resource and national clearinghouse for information on the prosecutorial function. The Institute is committed to providing interdisciplinary responses to the complex problems of criminal justice. The American Public Works Association is an international educational and professional association of public agencies, private sector companies, and individuals dedicated to providing high quality public works goods and services.
APTUS&C-Association of Public Treasurers of the United States & Canada

ASPA–American Society for Public Administration

ASIS International
ASIS International is the preeminent international organization for professionals responsible for security, including managers and directors of security. FASB–Financial Accounting Standards Board
The mission of the Financial Accounting Standards Board is to establish and improve standards of financial accounting and reporting for the guidance and education of the public, including issuers, auditors, and users of financial information.
GASB–Governmental Accounting Standards Board
The mission of the Governmental Accounting Standards Board is to establish and improve standards of state and local governmental accounting and financial reporting that will result in useful information for users of financial reports and guide and educate the public, including issuers, auditors, and users of those financial reports.
GFOA-Government Financial Officers Association
GFOA is the professional association of state/provincial and local finance officers in the United States and Canada, and has served the public finance profession since 1906. Approximately 16,000 GFOA members are dedicated to the sound management of government financial resources
IIA-Institute of Internal Auditors
Established in 1941, The Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA) is an international professional association of more than 107,000 members with global headquarters in Altamonte Springs, Fla., United States. Throughout the world, The IIA is recognized as the internal audit profession’s leader in certification, education, research, and technological guidance. 
NaCO–National Association of Counties
The National Association of Counties (NACo) was created in 1935 when county officials wanted to have a strong voice in the nation's capital. More than six decades later, NACo continues to ensure that the nation's 3066 counties are heard and understood in the White House and the halls of Congress. NACo's membership totals more than 2,000 counties, representing over 80 percent of the nation's population. NACo, the only national organization that represents county governments in the United States. With its headquarters on Capitol Hill, NACo is a full-service organization that provides an extensive line of services including legislative, research, technical, and public affairs assistance, as well as enterprise services to its members.
NACE-National Association of County Engineers
The National Association of County Engineers (NACE) is a professional association in its sixth decade of representing county engineers and professional road managers.  Our over 1,900 members consist of county engineers, road administrators, highway superintendents, public works directors, parish engineers, and other professional road managers.  Additionally, we are pleased to have private sector associate and corporate members as well as institutional members from the Forest Service, Bureau of Indian Affairs, and the 58 Local/Tribal Technical Assistance Centers from around the country.
NAFA - National Association of Fleet Managers
The National Association of Fleet Administrators, Inc. (NAFA) is a not-for-profit, individual membership professional society serving the needs of members who manage fleets of automobiles, SUVs, trucks and vans, and a wide range of specialized mobile equipment for organizations in the United States and Canada. NAFA provides its Members a full range of products and services, including statistical research, monthly and annual publications, regional chapter meetings, government representation, annual conferences and trade shows, educational seminars and more.
NDAA–National District Attorneys Association
NDAA is the nation's largest, primary and most influential organization of prosecuting attorneys. A merger of NDAA and the National College of District Attorneys recently took place. The National College of District Attorneys (NCDA) was founded in 1969 by the National District Attorneys Association (NDAA), the American Bar Association, and the American College of Trial Lawyers to provide continuing education for the nation's prosecutors. In 1992, NCDA was named the official training arm of NDAA and a close collaboration between the associations resulted in enhanced training opportunities for prosecuting attorneys.
NACTFO-National Association of County Treasurers and Finance Officers
The National Association of County Treasurers and Finance Officers was formed as an affiliate of the National Association of Counties in 1954 at the NACo Annual Conference in Omaha, Nebraska. The organization was originally formed as the National Association of County Treasurers (NACT) but was changed in 1957 to the National Association of County Treasurers and Finance Officers (NACTFO) to broaden the membership. NACTFO offers a Professional Certification Program.
NSA-National Sheriffs’ Association
The National Sheriffs' Association, now in its sixty-second year of serving the law enforcement/criminal justice professionals of the nation, is a non-profit organization dedicated to raising the level of professionalism among those in the criminal justice field. Through the years, NSA has been involved in numerous programs to enable sheriffs, their deputies, chiefs of police, and others in the field of criminal justice to perform their jobs in the best possible manner and to better serve the people of their city/counties or jurisdictions
NASCIO - National Association of State Chief Information Officers
NASCIO represents state chief information officers and information resource executives and managers from the 50 states, six U. S. territories, and the District of Columbia. State members are senior officials from any of the three branches of state government who have executive-level and statewide responsibility for information resource management.
NACM–National Association of Court Management
NACM is an organization of court management professionals dedicated to the improvement of courts and the development of court managers. NACM has been a leader in advancing the profession. A good example of this leadership is the core competencies recently provided to each NACM member in the Court Manager.
NASBO–National Association of State Budget Officers
Founded in 1945, NASBO serves as the professional organization for all state budget officers of the fifty states and U.S. territories. NASBO is an independent association with membership consisting of the heads of state budget offices, state finance departments and their staffs.
OCCA-Ohio Clerks of Court Association
The eighty-eight elected Clerks of Court make up the Ohio Clerk of Courts Association are proud of Ohio's brave 200 year history.  Clerks of Court are portals to court systems throughout the state. All historical cases and documents filed with a court or judicial orders are processed through the computerized systems in the Clerks' offices. Clerks of Court are also the Court and the State's bookkeepers, responsible for collection of court fees and motor vehicle sales tax, and for the issuance of auto, watercraft, trailer and mobile home titles.

PI - The Performance Institute

Based in Washington, D.C. and San Diego, the Institute serves as the nation's leading authority and repository on performance-based management practices for government.

SHRM–Society of Human Resource Professionals
The Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) is the world’s largest association devoted to human resource management. Representing more than 200,000 individual members, the Society's mission is to serve the needs of HR professionals by providing the most essential and comprehensive resources available. As an influential voice, the Society's mission is also to advance the human resource profession to ensure that HR is recognized as an essential partner in developing and executing organizational strategy. GAO–U. S. Government Accountability Office
Under recently passed legislation, we have changed our name from the General Accounting Office to the Government Accountability Office. The Government Accountability Office (GAO) is an agency that works for Congress and the American people. Congress asks GAO to study the programs and expenditures of the federal government. GAO, commonly called the investigative arm of Congress or the congressional watchdog, is independent and nonpartisan. It studies how the federal government spends taxpayer dollars.
American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA)
The American Recovery and Reinvestment Act is an unprecedented effort to jumpstart our economy, create or save millions of jobs, and put a down payment on addressing long-neglected challenges so our country can thrive in the 21st century. The Recovery and Reinvestment Act is an extraordinary response to a crisis unlike any since the Great Depression.  With much at stake, the Act provides for unprecedented levels of transparency and accountability so that you will be able to know how, when, and where your tax dollars are being spent. Spearheaded by a new Recovery Board, this Act contains built-in measures to root out waste, inefficiency, and unnecessary spending. This website will be the main vehicle to provide each and every citizen with the ability to monitor the progress of the recovery.

The site will include information about Federal grant awards and contracts as well as formula grant allocations. Federal agencies will provide data on how they are using the money, and eventually, prime recipients of Federal funding will provide information on how they are using their Federal funds.
