Sponsored by District 3 Summit County Council member Louise Heydorn, legislation establishing the Green Policy Task Force was unanimously adopted by Council on March 3, 2008. The Task Force was established to examine and develop plans and other methods in an attempt to make Summit County a more sustainable and environmentally-conscious place to live.
